We had an excellent experience with MOAI Health when our son underwent an ADHD assessment, and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to other parents. We had become concerned about his concentration and felt that a professional assessment would help us better understand what he was experiencing and, importantly, what we could do to support him. From the outset, the whole process with MOAI Health was extremely professional, efficient and reassuring. The assessment itself was conducted in person by a professional who was excellent with our son. He was made to feel comfortable throughout, and the clinician managed to engage with him in a way that felt straightforward and stress-free. Everything was explained clearly to us, both during the assessment and afterwards, and we came away with a much clearer understanding of our son's needs. The detailed report we received was comprehensive, clearly written and included a range of useful recommendations to help us support our son going forward. It has also been very helpful to share the report with his school, giving them a better understanding of his needs and how they can support him. Overall, we found MOAI Health to be professional, knowledgeable, efficient and genuinely helpful. The whole process was pain-free, and we now have a clear diagnosis together with practical guidance on the next steps. I would certainly recommend MOAI Health to any parent who is considering an ADHD assessment for their child. The clinic has been so very supportive of my daughter who at age 17 was diagnosed with dual form ADHD. Dr Singh and then Dr Davey could not have been more helpful, and have been warm, clinically insightful and professional at all times. My child and I recently attended an ADHD assessment with Dr Gavin Tucker, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the hub felt warm, welcoming, and calming, which immediately helped put us both at ease. Dr Tucker took the time to explain the assessment process clearly and thoroughly, using a friendly and reassuring approach that made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable. As this was completely new to both of us, his professionalism and patience were greatly appreciated. The assessment lasted around two hours, which is understandably a long time for a child with ADHD symptoms to remain seated and focused. Dr Tucker recognised this and was incredibly understanding, reassuring my child that it was perfectly okay to get up, move around, or fidget when needed, while gently encouraging him to pay attention during key parts of the assessment. His flexibility and understanding helped my child feel comfortable rather than criticised or pressured. Throughout the appointment, we felt listened to, respected, and supported. It was evident that Dr Tucker has a genuine understanding of neurodivergent children and adapts his approach to meet their needs. I would highly recommend MOAI Health to any family seeking an ADHD assessment. MOAI Health was recommended to us by the Scotland based specialist ADHD psychologist who diagnosed my adult son with ADHD, confirmation we have waited a very long time for.  With our agreement, their report was shared with Dr Patrick Davey of MOAI Health whom we met virtually on a regular basis.  We found him to be extremely thorough in his assessment - not only was he very helpful and professional, but also empathetic which was very important to my son as he felt validated and listened to at last.  We worked together talking through all the options available to my son, both medication and alternatives, taking into account his expectations and we finally agreed on a medication that is working exceptionally well. Dr Davey also helped us navigate the possibility of "shared care" with our local NHS which unfortunately was not to be. The team was, and continues to be, professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout our journey and communication has been prompt and clear, with requests - such as prescription refills - being handled quickly and efficiently. It’s particularly reassuring to know that everything is managed smoothly, with updates provided when needed and a proactive approach taken by the clinical team - we have always found the Clinical Secretary, Kirsty Phipps to be extremely helpful and supportive. The services provided by MOAI Health feels well organised and patient-focused, which makes a real difference in mental health. We have had an excellent experience with this clinic during my adult son’s ADHD assessment and diagnosis journey. Dr Davey has been fantastic – warm, friendly, and always able to put my son at ease, which has made a stressful process much easier for our family. I’d also like to thank Kirsty, the Clinical Secretary, who has provided outstanding support throughout. She always goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and has been incredibly helpful and responsive. I’ve been seeing Dr. Davey for ADHD medication management and have been very satisfied with the care. I have be making use of remote appointments and having medication delivered. Dr. Davey is knowledgeable and thorough. He took time to listen to my concerns and explained the medication options clearly. The staff is professional and courteous. Having struggled with my mental health since the age of 13, I have explored various routes including medication and NHS-funded therapy, but often came away feeling more unwell than when I started. I decided to try MOAI as a final attempt to retrain my brain. To provide some context, I have been diagnosed with Complex PTSD, BPD, anxiety, and most recently ADHD. I was assigned to work with Kiran, and from my very first interaction with her, I knew this service was something special. In over 20 years of living with poor mental health, I have never felt so genuinely listened to and validated. Kiran helped me reconnect with who I used to be and rediscover who I truly am beneath the trauma and heartache I’ve experienced throughout much of my teenage and adult life. Over the course of my six sessions, I began to notice small, often subconscious changes in myself as a direct result of the time and care she dedicated to me. Without this support, I feel I would have continued living with the weight of my past and in a constant state of low self-esteem. I would highly recommend MOAI as a service and have actively encouraged my team to take advantage of it. Mental health is incredibly important. Being given the tools to make life more manageable and understanding that I am not the problem has been critical to my recovery. I can now live with the belief that there is nothing inherently wrong with me; rather, my experiences shaped the way my mind and body responded in order to protect me. In my opinion, MOAI is a service that we should absolutely continue to offer and make accessible to all members of staff.
