Support for perinatal and hormonal mental health
We understand how challenging it can be to navigate questions about medication when you’re planning a family, pregnant or adjusting to life after birth. We also recognise how difficult it can be to live with hormone-related mental health conditions, such as PMDD.
Our specially trained clinicians are here to support you with expert advice, evidence-based treatment and compassionate care. We will work alongside you to develop a treatment plan that feels respectful, understanding and tailored to your individual needs.

Perinatal mental health support
Our perinatal service is led by Dr Anna Lapraik. She is a Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive experience supporting individuals throughout their journey to parenthood.
Through our dedicated clinic, we provide expert guidance on medication at every stage of the perinatal journey, including pre-conception planning, pregnancy and the postnatal period. We can also advise on medication use while breastfeeding.
We can provide assessment and support for a range of related mental health conditions, including perinatal depression and anxiety.
Support for PMDD
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is characterised by a range of debilitating emotional and physical symptoms that occur during the menstrual cycle. These can include severe mood swings, depression, anxiety, irritability and physical symptoms, which typically improve shortly after menstruation begins.
We understand how challenging these symptoms can be. Our compassionate team provides evidence-based assessment and treatment for PMDD, including medication and talking therapies, to help you better understand and manage your symptoms.
