What conditions do we treat?

As a team of psychiatrists, psychologists and occupational therapists, we can diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.

We have a dedicated CAMHS team working with children aged 5+, as well as a specialist adult team.

It is important to note that you don’t need a formal diagnosis to access support. We’re here to help you with whatever it is you are experiencing.

ADHD

Assessments and treatment

Living with the symptoms of ADHD can be challenging. We provide compassionate, gold-standard ADHD assessments for children aged 5+ and adults. Assessments are conducted by experienced psychiatrists and follow NICE guidelines.

Beyond diagnosis, we can support individuals with medication, therapeutic support and occupational therapy.

Autism

Assessments and support

Seeking an autism assessment, whether it’s for yourself or your child, can seem daunting. Our friendly psychiatrists are here to guide you through each part of the assessment process and provide you with the clarity you need.

Beyond assessment and diagnosis, we offer support including talking therapies, occupational therapy and follow-up sessions to help you understand your results.

Anxiety

Assessments and treatment

Anxiety is a natural emotional response to stress or perceived danger. However, excessive or persistent anxiety can be distressing and interfere with daily life. Our friendly team can help you gain a better understanding of your anxiety symptoms and deliver evidence-based treatments to help you overcome them. These may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR therapy or other talking therapies.

Depression

Assessments and treatment

Depression is a serious yet common mood disorder. It causes persistent sadness, loss of interest in activities, and has a significant impact on daily life. Our compassionate team of clinicians can explore a range of treatments with you, including medication and psychotherapy. They will also discuss how you can make supportive lifestyle changes to help improve your symptoms.

Obsessive Compulse Disorder (OCD)

Assessments and treatment

OCD is a mental health condition in which people experience unwanted thoughts and feel compelled to perform repetitive behaviours to reduce anxiety. Living with OCD can be distressing; however, many people find that their symptoms improve with evidence-based treatments. Our friendly clinical team can explore treatments with you, including medication, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other talking therapies.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)

Assessments and treatment

Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental health condition in which individuals spend a significant amount of time worrying about perceived flaws in their appearance. If you think you or your child may have BDD, our clinicians can conduct a thorough assessment of symptoms and recommend an evidence-based treatment plan. This may include medication and talking therapies.

Personality Disorders

Assessments and treatment

Personality disorders are long-term patterns of thinking and behaving that can make it difficult to manage emotions, relate to others, and function in everyday life. Our supportive team can assess your symptoms to determine whether you meet the diagnostic criteria for a personality disorder and provide treatments such as medication and talking therapies.

Trauma-related Disorders

Assessments and treatment

Trauma-related disorders stem from exposure to distressing events. They can cause persistent anxiety, nightmares, flashbacks, and avoidance behaviours. Our clinicians are experienced in supporting individuals with complex trauma. They can work with you to help you understand your symptoms and provide treatments such as medication, CBT, or EMDR.

Addiction

Assessments and treatment

Addiction involves being unable to control the use of a substance or engagement in a behaviour, even when it may cause harm. Our clinicians offer non-judgemental spaces where you can access support. They can provide a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Reproductive and hormone related conditions

Assessments and treatment

Living with PMDD can be particularly challenging. Likewise, managing medication during pregnancy can be confusing. Our specialist service supports individuals with hormone and reproductive concerns. Support includes evidence-based treatment for PMDD and expert medication guidance throughout conception, pregnancy, and beyond.

Stress and Burnout

Assessments and treatment

Stress is a natural response to increased pressure (such as workload, life events, or parenting), whilst burnout is a state of long-term exhaustion caused by prolonged stress. Our clinical team can help you address some of the thought patterns that may be contributing to stress. They can also help you make lifestyle changes that may be useful, such as boundary setting, rest, and mindfulness.
