Dr Evie Bamigbade
Adult Clinical Psychologist
BA MSc Phd DClinPsy PGCert
Dr Evie Bamigbade is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist working with adults across a broad range of mental health difficulties. She supports individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, identity-related challenges and relational difficulties, as well as those navigating academic pressures or questions of belonging.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), narrative therapy, systemic thinking and psychodynamic approaches. She works collaboratively and flexibly, tailoring therapy to each person rather than fitting clients into a single model. Dr Bamigbade has particular interests in identity, culture and the stories we carry, and works in ways that are neuroaffirming, culturally humble and trauma-informed.
She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), a PhD in Food and Public Health, an MSc in Psychology and a BA (Hons) in International Relations and International Development. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision for Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services.
Her experience spans NHS services, schools and private practice, where she has worked with diverse communities and a range of emotional and psychological needs. She also contributes to the training of future psychologists through teaching and supervision.
Clients can expect a reflective, compassionate and non-judgemental space where they can work with Dr Bamigbade to explore patterns, reconnect with their values and move towards meaningful change.

Specialisms and areas of interest
Dr Evie Bamigbade offers a reflective, compassionate space to explore identity, life experiences, and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Drawing on integrative approaches including CBT, ACT/CFT, narrative, systemic, and psychodynamic thinking, I tailor therapy to each individual, working in neuroaffirming, culturally humble, and trauma-informed ways.
The entire process of getting support through MOAI was superb. I received quick responses after first engagement and was able to have an appointment within the week at a time that worked with my schedule.
The specialist I met with was professional, supportive and was able to break things down for me to comprehend without it being overwhelming. It was really helpful to be able to understand more about the struggles I’d had with my mental health, something of which I hadn’t been able to achieve via the NHS; this has enabled me to better manage my symptoms going forward.
I can’t recommend MAOI enough!
