Dr Hannah Brownlee is a clinical psychologist based in South London with a decade of experience supporting young people, adults, and their networks. She has worked across NHS, charity, and private sector services, providing therapy for a range of emotional, behavioural, and relationship difficulties. She places great importance on building safe, strong therapeutic relationships to create a supportive space for clients.
Dr Brownlee is an integrative practitioner, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs. She draws on evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. Her work is trauma-informed, recognising that distress often arises as an attempt to cope with difficult life experiences.
With experience in NHS services such as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies, forensic settings, and complex mental health services, Dr Brownlee takes a holistic approach, considering the influence of family, culture, and society on psychological well-being.
